“Kathleen and her husband outdid themselves when restoring Kubli Haus back to life. It is absolutely stunning with no detail left behind. From the comfy bedding to the luxurious bath to the Kubli Haus' walkability to everything in town (literally less than two blocks to a delicious coffee house, wine-tasting room, and sushi!), it was just what my husband and I needed after a few days on the southern coast. Jacksonville is incredibly charming, and we can't wait to come back to explore more wineries and fine dining when more things are open (we were there on a Monday and Tuesday, most wineries and restaurants are closed one or both of those days so plan accordingly). We will be back to Kubli Haus soon, and I hope to snag Suite 3 next so I can soak in that tub! Thank you, Kathleen! 🙂”

“I am a frequent traveler and don’t leave reviews very often. Please do yourself a favor and book Kubli Haus. It is a beautiful and very comfortable place to stay. We were passing through and only stayed one night. Next time we will make more time and stay longer.”

“The accommodations at Kubli Haus are exceptional. This was our second time staying in Suite #4. It was extra sweet this time because we knew what to expect and #4 was as perfect as the time before. The location to the Britt is a block away and it's an easy walk to shops, etc. Our suite is perfect for the two of us. The room is a comfortable size and the bathroom is quite spacious. One of my favorite things is that shower. Thank you again for another lovely adventure.”

“This house has been wonderfully restored and made an absolute great place to stay in Jacksonville. You are only a couple of blocks from everything Jacksonville has to offer. And, if you've got Britt tickets you can simply walk to the concert! I was particularly enamored with the solid Walnut countertops. The owners have managed to make a very modern place while keeping the flavor of the period when it was built.”

“Oh! The bathroom! The shower! We had no idea the level of elegance, comfort and style we’d find at Kubli Haus. Owners, Kathleen and Brian Dunn, clearly aim to please. And clearly love being Innkeepers. Modern yet historic. Antique rugs, Kilim pillows, wingback chairs. Beautiful warm original pine floors. Not old fashioned, not cool contemporary. But the best mix possible of both worlds. Heavenly 3 days. Darling old west town, fun busy restaurants, a special coffee house. Beautiful tour of wineries just a few miles away. You’ll love it.”

“Loved my time spent at Kubli Haus! From the warm hospitality, to my beautifully appointed room, it was an incredible experience. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable and the proximity to walk to restaurants and shops was perfect! Will definitely return!”

“This suite is one you'll be glad you booked. It's one of those rare times when pictures only tell part of the story--the experience exceeds expectations. The room is quiet, tasteful, well-appointed, and comfortable. The setting is peaceful and pretty. Like all of Jacksonville, it's close to perfect.”

“We had a 2-night stay at Kubli Haus, and it was the most relaxing stay we've had in awhile! It's hard to sum up our experience in this short review, but let's see how we do. 😉 Our host, Kathleen, met us at the front door when we arrived the first afternoon. Her warm smile and light conversation was so welcoming, and helped melt away any remaining stresses that lingered from our last minute scramble to finish work and start our getaway. The home is decorated absolutely beautifully, and our room upstairs, #4, was private, very secure, very quiet, with a luxurious bed and a huge bathroom with incredible walk-in shower! Walking distance to restaurants and shopping downtown, a MUST STAY for sure!”
